THE DECISION ARCHITECTURE BEHIND PEAK TEAMS
Peak Teams began here—in Antarctica—in 2002. But it did not begin with an expedition story. It began with a
decision architecture.
After a decade of making high-stakes decisions under pressure, Shane Toohey developed the model. In 2002, he attempted to patent it—only to discover that the U.S. Army had filed a comparable architecture six weeks earlier.
Using that architecture, Peak Teams created the format: immersive performance experiences built from real
expedition scenarios.
By 2006, major contracts with HP and UBS Investment Bank brought Peak Teams from Australia to the United States.
For more than 20 years, our experiences have accelerated results for organizations including Amazon, Cisco, Google, McKesson and Mastercard.
We create experiences people remember. We improve performance. We close the Pressure Gap.
